Cruising around Discover Japan is half the fun in Forza Horizon 6, but the map is hiding a lot more than it shows you at first glance. There are so many special spots tucked between the races, and Barn Finds waiting for you to claim them. Stick around, and you will know exactly where to go to find all the Discovery locations in Forza Horizon 6, and the smartest order to hit them all.
What Are Discovery Locations in Forza Horizon 6
Discovery Locations are landmarks and points of interest scattered across the Discover Japan map. The moment you drive near one, it pops into the Discovery section of your Collection Journal. Most of the time, just getting close enough is all it takes.

Each one you find hands you Discover Japan Points, and those points push your Stamp progression forward. Stamps are basically your overall completion score for the map, so every landmark counts toward that bigger goal.

Many of these spots double as Photography Locations, which means snapping a picture in Photo Mode can earn you extra Credits. These locations are based on real places in Japan, too, so they are very nice to look at.
Four Discovery entries are tied to the time of year:
- Spring
- Summer
- Autumn
- Winter
You have to actually be playing during the Festival Playlist matching season to grab them. Seasons roll over every Thursday, so plan your week around whichever one you still need.

Tips for Cleaning Up All Discovery Locations in Forza Horizon 6
A few small habits make this whole hunt way smoother. Here are the ones worth keeping in mind:
- Drive slowly near triggers. These locations sometimes are hard to trigger, so you need the exact spot by driving slowly to claim it.
- Snap photos as you go. Since many landmarks double as Photography Locations, popping into Photo Mode at each one stacks extra rewards onto the same trip.
- Knock out seasonal ones first. If a season-locked Discovery is active this week, grab it before it rotates out next Thursday.
That is all the Discovery locations in Forza Horizon 6 laid out in a route you can actually follow. Work through the regions in order, keep your speed in check near each pin, and you will watch your Stamp progression climb fast. Have fun driving around Japan!
