How to Unlock Weapon Refinement in Slayers 2

To unlock the weapon refinement system, you first need to be at least level 60. Once you reach the required level, travel to the Hidden Mist Village and find the Refiner Hagane NPC inside the big blacksmith tower. Finish his quest to unlock access to the refinement system.

Finding the village is the tricky part. Follow this route:

  1. Spawn at the Hidden Mist Village Shrine and just go straight onto the ramp in front of you.
  2. When you reach the middle of the road after the ramp, jump down into the fog on the right side.
  3. After you land, look for a tall pagoda building.
  4. You’ll find Hagane inside.

  2. Saneri - North of Windy Peak
  3. Shinora - Inside Mistfall Harbor
  4. Giyen - Southwest Bamboo Grove Sanctuary
  5. Rengu - Forgotten Ruins, south of Mistfall Harbor
  6. Obari - Northeast Bamboo Grove
  7. Zentaro - East of Obari
  8. Tengai - Iceveil Settlement, north of Windy Peak

Method 2: Opening Chests

You can also get Refinement Ore or Mythic Refinement Ore by opening chests. However, they have different drop chances. Here is the list of drop chances and the chest sources:

  • Sealed Cache Tier 3 - 4%
  • World Events Chest - 4%
  • Sealed Cache Tier 2 - 2%
  • Snow Chest - 1.4%
  • Sealed Cache Tier 1 - 1%
  • Lost Chest - 0.6%

Method 3: Fishing

Another way to get ores is to do some fishing. The drop rate is very low, so it is not efficient. Still, if boss fights feel too hard right now, grab a rod, sit by the water, and hope you get some.

How to Avoid Weapon Refinement Failure in Slayers 2

Basically, the weapon refinement system in Slayers 2 is an RNG system. If the refinement is successful, your weapon gets upgraded. But if it fails, it gets downgraded instead. So, if you are having bad luck but keep pushing it, you will burn through your materials quickly.

The fix is the Refinement Guard. It prevents the level from decreasing when a refinement fails. You can get it from boss drops or by fishing, but it will be extremely rare. So if you get it, save it for weapons that are already high level.
