Switching to a new account or joining with other people to continue your Netflix subscription? Well, the major issue when you switch from one account to another is you lose all your watch history, recommendations, lists, etc. To combat that, Netflix introduced a new profile transfer feature. What’s Netflix’s Profile Transfer Feature
Netflix is cracking down on password sharing for those who are not living in the same household. So if you are sharing the Netflix password with people who live far from you, you either have to pay an additional $8/month to continue sharing the password, or you need to move to a new account or join with other people to continue Netflix.
If you consider moving to another account, Netflix’s new Profile Transfer feature will help you transfer your profile from your current account to a new account or any other existing account. That way, you can switch to a new account or share Netflix with new members without forgoing your recommendations, watch history, settings, My List, etc.
