How to Level Up Your Hozuki Pouch
Pouch upgrades become available after you complete the main story quest Patching up the Pouch and speak with Okuni. She is the one who handles all enhancements so you will need to return to her whenever you have the materials for an upgrade.
Each pouch has three levels. Getting from Level 1 to Level 2 requires standard materials like cloth, leather, iron, or whetstone depending on the pouch type. Getting from Level 2 to Level 3 always requires a Skeleton Hozuki on top of the standard materials. There are five Skeleton Hozuki in the game one for each pouch type so you need all nine collectibles to fully max out every pouch. Fully upgrading all five pouches to Level 3 unlocks the Medical Marvel trophy and achievement.
