Steal an Egg – Rift Event Guide

The Rift Event in Steal an Egg brings a ton of new content, including a Boss fight, a new Event Shop, and some new Eggs to steal. The Rift opens every 30 minutes, letting you fight the Rift Boss for exclusive Boss Tokens. You can also sacrifice three Pets to receive exclusive Eggs in return. What is the Rift Boss Event?

The Rift Boss Event takes place every 30 minutes in Steal an Egg. A Rift opens up and lets you enter to fight the Abyssal Overlord. You must first destroy the crystals that power up the Overlord. Next, the boss will send a barrage of attacks your way, so make sure to dodge them all.

Once you have destroyed the power crystals, the boss starts attacking you with its hand. Each time the boss attacks with its hand, you can attack it with your weapon. Once the boss's health runs out, you will receive the Secret Rift Egg and Boss Tokens that you can spend in the Boss Shop.

Boss Shop

The Rift Boss Shop is an exclusive shop where you can purchase boosts and the Fractured Mutation crystal. You need Boss Tokens to purchase items from this shop. Some available items include a Cash Booster, 1.25x Speed Boost, Treadmill Booster, and the Fractured Mutation.

I suggest saving up your Boss Tokens and spending them on the Fractured Mutation crystal, as it provides an additional 10% money gain.

Boss Mastery

Rift Sacrifices in Steal an Egg

There is also a mysterious Rift in the lobby that lets you sacrifice Pets in exchange for an exclusive Egg. The Rift requests three Pets, and you need to sacrifice all three to receive one of the three exclusive Rift Eggs in Steal an Egg.

Each Banner rotates every 3 hours, and the rotations are globally synchronized across every server. This means all players will see the same Rift Banner at the same time, so make sure to check the current Banner before it changes.

With each Banner change, the Rift requires three different Pets. You can also check where you can find the requested Pet. For example, the Rift might ask you for a Crane and let you know that you can find it in the Cherry Blossom Biome. If you want, you can reroll the requested Pets. However, there is no guarantee of which Pet might appear on the banner.
