Slayers 2 Cryokinesis (Ice Manipulation) Unlock Guide and Moves

Cryokinesis, also known as Ice Manipulation, is one of the top-tier Demon Arts in Slayers 2. You can unlock this OP Demon Art following the steps below. The process involves obtaining the Cryokinesis Orb and completing several quests. Then, you must unlock its moves with the required skill and Mastery points. Here is how you can unlock Cryokinesis (Ice Manipulation) Demon Art in Slayers 2, finish all quests, and the set of moves you get in the end.

How to Get the Cryokinesis Orb in Slayers 2

You can get the Cryokinesis Orb in two ways: rolling in Muzan's Lair and opening Chests. Here are the details:

1. Rolling in Muzan's Lair

You can reach Muzan's Lair by ringing the Biwa Bell, which you get after becoming a Demon. Once there, interact with Muzan and ask for his powers. It opens the Orb gacha, where you can roll and get Demon Arts. There's a 50% chance you won't get anything and a 50% chance to get a random Evil Art.

You can use Spins or Ores if you lack the former to roll on the gacha. There's no drop rate for each Devil Art or a pity. So, obtaining the Cryokinesis or Ice Manipulation Orb depends on your luck.

2. Opening Chests

Don't worry if you don't have Spins or Ores; you can get the Cryokinesis Orb by Opening Chests in Slayers 2. I got mine by defeating one. Here are the details:

You can obtain these Chests by defeating the bosses that drop them when defeated. You can view the Chests' names above each boss's HP bar on the right side (see the picture below).

After obtaining the Orb, go to your inventory and equip it. Then, select it and click the M1 button. After that, you'll see four quests on the left side of your screen. Complete them one after another to harness the Cryokinesis Orb in Slayers 2. Here are the quests and how to complete them:

Quest 3 - Underwater Rocks

The game guides you to each Underwater Rock's location by displaying a marker: a broken rock icon (see the picture above). Despite the guidance, finding them was the most difficult and time-consuming for me. I recommend using Gourds to extend your breathing capacity if you can. Here's how to complete the quest:

Note that you must go underwater in the Bamboo Grove Sanctuary waters. They look like Betty's Gemstone. Finding them is exactly the way to find Betty's Gemstone. If you're familiar with the quest, then you can find the Underwater Rocks easily.

Quest 4 - Defeat 5 Mizunotos

This is a straightforward quest. Grab a weapon and defeat 5 Mizunotos. Travel to Mistfall Harbor and look for the Shady Individual Rooyi NPC. You'll find five Mizunotos there. In fact, Mizunotos will start attacking when you get near them.

It's easy to beat the Mizunotos with the right strategy. However, I recommend getting the best weapon you can get for the fight. Also, multiple Mizunotos might attack you simultaneously. So, it's best to use the weapon that deals AoE damage. I defeated them with the Cutlass, although it required multiple tries.

Mizunotos also use Breathing Styles; however, it's not that lethal if you know how to deal with them. The strategy is simple: be patient, block, and time your attacks when you have a chance. It might be tougher to defeat multiple Mizunotos at once. In that case, cross the red bridge and let them return to their spawn points. After that, approach a single Mizunoto, engage, and defeat it.

After unlocking all the moves, you can pretty much defeat most bosses. You can use the Z move to start the fight. Since you can cast it from afar, your opponent will receive damage before the fight begins. When the opponent closes in, hold the X key to grab and deal damage. You can use C, V, and B moves from long range.

I prefer Cryokinesis because it lets me attack from afar. It lets me hit multiple enemies, crowd-control them, freeze them, and break their guards. I've progressed quickly after unlocking Cryokinesis in Slayers 2.
