First things first - WARDOGS is not a deathmatch. You don't win in WARDOGS by getting the most kills. You win by reaching 100 points before any other team on the server.

The Hot Zone also earns you more money for everything you do inside it. Kills, revives, heals - they will all pay out significantly more than doing the same thing anywhere else on the map.

1. The Tower Code Method

There are four towers scattered across the map, each marked with a square icon. If your team captures a tower by hacking its PC terminal on the top floor, you earn one digit of a four-digit code that's randomized each match. Capture all four towers at the same time, and you'll have the full code.

Now take the code to the terminal on the top of your captured towers and enter it. The Hot Zone will then move to your location. If your team already has a strong FOB with defenses, mortars, and anti-air, this can put you in a great spot. Your team can stay in the zone and earn points while the enemy has to attack your base. It takes good teamwork, but it's one of the strongest plays in the game.

2. The FOB Drill Method

There's another way to move the Hot Zone. Support players who have unlocked the heavy hammer can place drills at their FOB. The drills need fuel to work, so Logistics players can bring fuel in large pallets. Once a drill is active, it starts pulling the Hot Zone toward your FOB.

The drill goes on cooldown after running for a while, giving the Hot Zone a chance to move again. But if your team places more than one drill and keeps them fueled, you can take turns using them as their cooldowns end. This could keep the Hot Zone near your FOB almost nonstop.

4 Ways to Help Your Team Win Matches in WARDOGS

What I love about WARDOGS is that you don't have to be a great shooter to be useful. Every role contributes to a win in WARDOGS, and some of the non-combat stuff is arguably more impactful than just getting kills.

1. Stay in the Zone and Stay Alive

Every second you're dead and waiting to respawn is time you're not in the Control Zone. Before you give up on a downed position, check if a teammate can pick you up. Reviving keeps your gear, keeps you in the fight, and keeps your team's zone count up. You can even offer cash to a teammate to get them to revive you.

2. Build FOBs and Fortify

If shooting isn't your thing, Support is one of the most powerful roles in this game. Building up your team's FOB near the Control Zone gives everyone a solid spawn point, defensive walls, and access to things like mortars and anti-air that can deny enemy helicopters and make your base hard to crack.

FOBs don't directly score points, but they give your team the tools and the respawn access to stay in the zone consistently.

3. Run Logistics

Logistics might be one of the most overlooked roles in WARDOGS right now. Drivers and pilots keep your FOB supplied, bringing in building materials, mortar ammo, and fuel for drills and towers.

Before dropping off supplies, open the map and hover over your FOB icon. It shows exactly what the base needs. Don't dump a full pallet of something the FOB already has plenty of. Check what is needed and bring the right supplies instead.

4. Spot and Heal

Even if you're not getting kills, spotting enemies with binoculars helps your team see where enemies are. You also earn XP and cash when a spotted enemy gets taken down. Healing teammates gives you money too, and reviving downed players helps keep your team in the zone.

The biggest tip to win big in WARDOGS is to look at what your team needs and fill that role. Yeah, boring but useful.
