Finding and appeasing all 6 Scarecrows in Fisch FischFright 3 is one of the main questlines on Caustic Hallow. Completing this Fisch quest unlocks a trapdoor leading to the Secret Scarecrow Vault. Each Scarecrow sits somewhere inside the Scarecrow Maze and has its own request ranging from catching a specific fish to performing emotes. Here are all the Scarecrow locations and how to appease them in FischFright 3.
How to Start FischFright 3 Scarecrow Quest
Before you can interact with any of the six Scarecrows, you need to officially begin the quest.
- Head to Caustic Hallow by speaking to Captain Jack at Moosewood Dock and selecting the Travel option.
- Once on the island, turn left and enter the Scarecrow Maze.
- Find the Gatekeeper Scarecrow at GPS (-14966.0, 180.6, -9429.7) and speak to him to begin the quest.
- You can use your quest book and click Navigate at any point to track which Scarecrows you still need to visit.
All 6 Scarecrow Locations and Tasks
Scarecrow 1 Location: Catch a Crypt Crab
- GPS: -14950.7, 180.6, -9403.6
Located right next to the Gatekeeper Scarecrow. This one wants a Crypt Crab which is a low-rarity fish that typically spawns behind the cemetery or near the bridge leading to Pumpkin Pete’s area.

Scarecrow 2 Location: Find the Missing Straw Arm
- GPS: -14928.9, 180.6, -9346.4
This Scarecrow has lost his Straw Arm and needs you to retrieve it. Walk back to the central lane and turn left. The Straw Arm is on the ground, so fishing is not required for this one.
Scarecrow 3 Location: Entertain for 15 Seconds
- GPS: -15047.4, 180.6, -9427.2
This Scarecrow wants to be entertained. Press B to open the Emote Wheel and perform emotes in front of him for 15 seconds. Running through three or four emotes back-to-back is enough to satisfy the timer.
Scarecrow 4 Location: Bring 5 Treats
- GPS: -15021.4, 180.7, -9442.2
This one needs 5 Treats, which you collect by Trick-or-Treating at houses around the island. Once you have five, head back and hand them over.
Scarecrow 5 Location: Catch a Decayed Dace
- GPS: -15066.4, 180.9, -9403.2
One of the easier fishing tasks in the questline. The Decayed Dace can be caught anywhere in Caustic Hallow or even through Trick or Treating.

The final and most specific task. This Scarecrow wants a Scarecrow Snapper, which can be found in the exclusive Frightful Pools in the main sea areas, including the Doomed, Eldritch, and Grim pools.

Once all six Scarecrows have been appeased, return to the Gatekeeper Scarecrow at the start of the maze and speak to him to collect your completion reward. This also unlocks a trapdoor directly behind the Gatekeeper which leads down into the Secret Scarecrow Vault. List of all the rewards you can find:
