Fortnite X FNAF – A New Poi Confirms the Collab Is Happening

Something interesting is happening on the Fortnite map right now, and the FNAF community is paying very close attention. We have been covering the possibility of a Five Nights at Freddy's collaboration with Fortnite for a while now, and earlier this season we specifically flagged it as one of the most likely Fortnitemares candidates, given that Chapter 7 Season 4 is built around gaming icons. Now a new building has appeared on the map, taking the conversation from speculation to something much more concrete. Here is everything pointing toward this FNAF x Fortnite collab.

FNAF x Fortnite Collab Teasers on the Map

A building has appeared in the northeast of The Battlewood labelled as the Arcade landmark, and it is currently under construction. The outside of the structure bears a striking resemblance to the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza location from the FNAF movie, with two side pillars, a similar roofline, matching colour scheme, and a central entrance that lines up closely with the movie pizzeria's layout.

The exterior comparison alone would be interesting but not conclusive. What makes this genuinely hard to dismiss is what is inside. The building contains a stage which is exactly the kind of setup you would expect to find in a FNAF pizzeria. Beyond that, players have discovered what appear to be spring lock instruction notes inside the building, featuring gears and mechanical components that are visually consistent with FNAF lore. A bird's-eye view of the layout also reveals sections resembling a kitchen, bathroom, parts and service area, and backstage which are all areas familiar to anyone who knows the franchise.

The building is still under construction which matters. The current structure does not need to be a one-to-one recreation of the pizzeria because it may simply be a teaser for what gets built out properly during the Fortnitemares update in October. If the pattern holds, Fortnite typically constructs or transforms map locations as part of its Halloween event rollout, meaning this could be the early stage of something much bigger.

This is the most complicated question surrounding the collab, and it comes down to one person: Scott Cawthon. The FNAF creator has historically been very cautious with collaborations and has reportedly turned down Fortnite collab requests in the past. That said, there are signs he has been opening up to partnerships more recently with notable examples including the FNAF-themed New Jersey mall activation and the Dead by Daylight collaboration, where the animatronics appeared on stage without being playable characters themselves.

Given the evidence currently on the map it genuinely feels like this is heading toward something official rather than a generic stand-in.

FNAF x Fortnite Release Date

No official release date has been confirmed for a FNAF x Fortnite collaboration. However, the timing points almost entirely toward the Fortnitemares event in October 2026. Fortnitemares is Fortnite's annual Halloween event and is historically the window where the game's biggest horror franchise collaborations land. The fact that the under-construction building appeared at the start of this season with Fortnitemares still weeks away gives Fortnite time to build it out further through map updates and teasers before the event officially begins.
