Once you have found it, simply put it in your hotbar and equip it. Once it's equipped, there are several movesets you can use:

  • Standard shot – Tap Fire for a quick energy blast. Each shot burns 1 ammo out of your total of 75.
  • Charged shot – Hold Fire until the cannon powers all the way up, then release for a much heavier hit. This one costs 5 ammo per use.
  • Slide Boost - You can also tap and hold Left+Ctrl to give you a slide boost.

Remember that the ammo pool never refills. Once it hits zero, the gun is dead weight in your inventory.

Mixing both attack types drains your ammo faster than you'd expect mid-fight. What I suggest is saving charged shots for finishing off low-HP enemies and leaning on standard shots to chip away at enemies and push people out of cover. But do not spam them.
