How to Participate in the Steal an Egg Racing Event
The Racing Event in Steal an Egg starts every 30 minutes. You must be in the server and enter the race portal to participate. The portal can spawn in different Biomes, so keep an eye on the announcement tab to find it.
Each player starts with the Ostrich as their base Racer, which you can upgrade using Wins. You earn 1 Win and 2,500 Trophies by winning a race. Use these rewards to upgrade your Racer or purchase items, including Speed Boosts, Treadmill Boosts, and the Nitro Mutation.
Racing Tips
During a race, stay ahead of your opponents and avoid hitting obstacles. Look out for the following features on the track:
- Speed Boost Tracks: Run over these tracks to gain a burst of speed and move ahead of the competition.
- Power-Ups: Collect power-ups. They help you during the race or give you obstacles that you can place in your opponents' paths.

How to Turn Pets Into Racing Mounts in Steal an Egg
You can also turn your favorite Pets into Racing mounts using Shooting Stars in Steal an Egg. Follow these steps:
- Obtain a Shooting Star through the random nightly Shooting Star event or purchase one from Stellaris the Star Handler.
- Select the Pet you want to use as a mount.
- Activate the Shooting Star on your chosen Pet to turn it into a mount.
Note that each mount requires one Shooting Star, which is consumed when used. This process cannot be undone, so choose your Pet carefully. Keep in mind that turning your best pet into a mount will not give you extra speed.
How to Get Shooting Stars
There are two ways to obtain Shooting Stars:
- Nightly Shooting Star Event: Every in-game night, a Shooting Star event has a rare chance to occur. The sky turns dark, and a star falls from above, granting a Shooting Star to every eligible player on the server.
- Purchase from Stellaris: Visit Stellaris the Star Handler to buy up to five Shooting Stars per week with Robux. The purchase limit resets every Saturday.
You must be in the server from the start of that in-game day to receive a Shooting Star from the event. Server hopping to find one will not work.
