Anime Expeditions added a new map called East Town in the Warrior Saga Update. The map has two new NPCs: Bioinsect and Prodigy. You must find these two NPCs to start their questline. I will explain where you can find the NPCs and how to complete all East Town Quests in Anime Expeditions.

How To Find East Town NPCs in Anime Expeditions

East Town is currently the only map in Anime Expeditions (Warrior Saga Update) where you can interact with NPCs. You must find both Bioinsect and Prodigy by exploring the map during an active stage. The NPCs do not appear in the sandbox gamemode. Here are the NPCs and their locations:

  • Prodigy - On the right side of the portal near the Basketball court.
  • Bioinsect - On the left side of the portal near the beach.

Bioinsect's East Town Quest in Anime Expeditions

The first NPC you should interact with in East Town is Bioinsect, as completing his quest is a requirement to start Prodigy's Questline. You can find Bioinsect near the beach in East Town, which is towards the left side of the portal. Bioinsect's quest, Perfection's Trial, requires you to complete the Unit Trial.

For those unaware, you can complete Trials for certain Units in Anime Expeditions to earn Unit-specific Equipment. You can start Bioinsect's Unit Trial after summoning the Unit through the Mini or Standard Banner. Keep in mind that Unit Trials are some of the most difficult stages in the game.

Rewards for completing the Perfection's Trial quest are:

  • Mechanical Wings - Equipment and Evolution Material needed to obtain Bioinsect (Final Form)
  • 15x Equipment Reroll

Prodigy's East Town Questline in Anime Expeditions

Prodigy is the next NPC in Anime Expeditions you should interact with in East Town. The NPC asks you to complete the Scholar's Trial to earn the Prodigy Unit.

The Prodigy's questline is the Scholar's Trial. Its objectives include several tasks involving the new Units and Expedition system before eventually sending you to East Town for the Unit Trial. Here are all the objectives you must complete:

  1. Complete East Town one time.
  2. Participate in one Tournament.
  3. Clear a Boss Node on East Town Difficulty 3.
  4. Collect 350 Mechanical Scrap.
  5. Clear 150 Waves with Bioinsect (Final Form).
  6. Complete Prodigy's Trial.
  7. Evolve one Unit.
  8. Clear 150 Waves with Carrot (Unleashed).

Yes, you must complete East Town quests in Anime Expeditions to get the secret Prodigy Unit. Keep in mind that you don't have to necessarily complete these Quests. However, I recommend completing them to get new Expedition material and Index completion.
