The Warrior Saga update in Anime Expeditions is finally live. This is the first major update in Anime Expeditions, and there is a ton of new content to explore. The update adds 11 new Units, a new Tower Gamemode, the East Town map, an expanded Expedition system, Auto Play, multiple Events, new Equipment, Skins, Mounts, Emotes, and more. Anime Expeditions Warrior Saga Update - Everything New
The new update brings in a ton of new content and some secret additions as well. Don't forget to check the new codes for freebies. Here is everything new in the Anime Expeditions Warrior Saga Update:
11 New Units
The Warrior Saga Update in Anime Expeditions adds 11 new Units across several rarities.

New Tower Gamemode
A new Tower gamemode has been added to Anime Expeditions with the Warrior Saga update. The mode features Endless Floors with random Elemental Resistances. Meaning enemies will spawn with Modifiers that make certain Units deal less damage.
Tower also introduces Traits and Traitless Modes. You can choose to play either one, but the rewards are similar. The Traitless mode will disable all Unit Traits, which makes it a bit difficult to complete stages.
Completing stages in the Tower Mode rewards you with Gems and Gold. You can also earn the exclusive Cubert unit by winning Floor 50.
New East Town Map
East Town is the newest map added to Anime Expeditions with the Warrior Saga update. Similar to other maps, this map comes with three different modes:
- Story - Normal and Hard stages with Modifiers and rewards.
- Infinite - Hard stages with rewards for every five successful waves.
- Mastery - Hard stages with exclusive Equipment rewards.
East Town also introduces two new Quest NPCs. Completing their NPC Questline allows you to obtain the Prodigy unit. You will have to explore the map during stages to find the Quest NPCs. Here is a list of all Anime Expedition's East Town map quests and how to complete them.
Expedition Expansion
The Expedition system has received a major expansion in the Anime Expeditions Warrior Saga update with the addition of the West City Expedition. A new Encounters Node Type has also been added. The update also adds:
- New Building Material
- New Building Upgrades
- Payload Skin feature
- Refreshed MASTRR Event
Note that you must complete all previous Expedition stages to access the West City Expedition.
Dragon's Wish Event
Dragon's Wish is a new Event featuring daily quests and rewards. You can complete the event's daily objectives to earn rewards, including Event Coins, Equipment Rerolls, Trait Crystals, and a special Wish Dragon Mount. The event also allows you to receive a free Unbound Trait.
To obtain the Wish Dragon Mount and the Unbound Trait, you will have to collect all 7 Orbs by completing the Quests. Quests require you to complete Challenges, obtain Equipment, and obtain Units as well.
Boss Bounty Event
The Boss Bounty is a new event addition in Anime Expeditions Warrior Saga, focused on fighting randomly selected Bosses. Each day features randomized:
- Bosses
- Stages
- Difficulties
- Resistances
- Modifiers
You can also spend Gold to reroll your options if you want to try for better rewards. Completing Boss Bounty content can reward you with Event Coins, Trait Crystals, and other rewards.
Guess That Unit! Minigame
A new daily minigame called Guess That Unit! has been added to Anime Expeditions with the Warrior Saga update. Your objective is to guess the blacked-out Units to earn various rewards. I recommend checking out our All Units in Anime Expeditions guide to make the minigame a bit easier.
The minigame features two difficulty levels:
- Normal
- Hard
Completing the minigame rewards you with Event Coins that you can spend in the Event Shop to purchase Rerolls and Evolution material.
6 New Equipment
The Anime Expeditions Warrior Saga Update adds six new Equipment pieces. These Equipment provide your Units with stat boosts and new passive abilities:
- Carrot's Gi
- Mechanical Wings
- Mentor's Cape
- Pointy Straw
- Royal Gi
- Warrior Pole
9 New Skins
Nine new Skins have been added with the Anime Expeditions Warrior Saga:
- Ballin' Bioinsect
- Ballin' Carrot
- Ballin' Drink
- Ballin' Prodigy
- Ballin' Vegetable
- Bioinsect (Mecha)
- Prodigy (Manga)
- The Stronges

As a fan of the Anime Expeditions experience, the Warrior Saga update is a great addition. There are many new ways to earn rewards, Units, and Equipment. Even if you're new to the game, you can participate in new update events including Boss Bounty, the new Tower gamemode, and the Guess the Unit! Minigame.
