Anime Expeditions Fishing Event
The Fishing event in Anime Expeditions lets you fish in the pools found around the lobby using different Fishing Rods. Each catch can give you a Fish along with Sand Dollars, fishing XP, and milestone XP. As you continue fishing, you can progress through the event's milestones and unlock additional rewards.
The event also includes special fishing-related ranks and titles that boost your event currency gain. There's also an exclusive Unit that you can get from the Fishing event.
How to Fish in Anime Expeditions
Fishing in Anime Expeditions is relatively simple, and you can start immediately with the Normal Rod, which is available from the beginning. Here's how to fish:
- Click the Fishing Rod icon on the bottom left to equip your rod.
- Now, head to any pool in the lobby area or in one of the maps.
- Click the left mouse button to cast the rod.
- Wait for a Fish to bite and the fishing mini-game to appear.
- Click the left mouse button to move the blue bar and keep it aligned over the Fish icon.
- Continue aligning them until the white progress bar fills up completely.
- Once the bar is full, you will successfully catch the Fish.
All Fishing Rewards in Anime Expeditions
Fishing in Anime Expeditions isn't only about collecting Fish. Every catch contributes toward several different progression systems.
- Fish - they are the primary collectibles obtained from the Fishing Event. Different Fish have different rarities, with higher-tier Fish being more difficult to catch.
- Sand Dollars - they are the main currency associated with the Summer Fish Fest. Fishing allows you to accumulate them, which you can then spend in the Summer Shop. The shop contains everything from useful rerolls and locks to exclusive Equipment and other event items.
- Fishing XP - fishing grants fishing XP, allowing you to progress through the Fishing Event.
- Milestone XP - your fishing activity also contributes toward milestone progression. Reaching higher milestones unlocks increasingly valuable rewards, including Gems, Trait Crystals, Equipment Locks, rerolls, and exclusive cosmetics.
