How to Get to The Deep City in Fisch

Getting to The Deep City in Fisch requires a bit of preparation before you dive in. You will need diving gear and flippers equipped before you can make the descent. A Tide Breaker helps significantly with mobility underwater, and a good oxygen tank is strongly recommended.

Once you are geared up, use the Guide Me button on the update to get pointed in the right direction. Keep traveling deep into the ocean, and you will eventually get teleported down to the area. Once you arrive, you will see the underwater city beneath you. Head inside the city districts to regain oxygen as you explore.

The Deep Survey Device

One of the first things to sort out once you arrive is the Deep Survey Device. Check your accessories, and you will find it listed there as inactive. You need to repair it before it becomes usable. Once it is fixed and equipped, you can walk on the seafloor in low gravity rather than swimming, which opens up a completely different way to explore the deeper sections of the region

Work with Chief Engineer Nereus to synthesize beacon cores and restore the outer beacon towers across the region. Restoring each beacon permanently lights up that sector and reduces fish hostility in the area making exploration significantly safer over time.

The Gloomy Crevice

The darkest and deepest section of The Deep. You need the MK II Survey Device with the Light Module to navigate it safely. Rare deep-dwelling fish species are found here alongside hidden secrets tucked into the furthest corners of the trench.

The Monstrous Cusk Boss Fight

Catch Faceless Cusks in the Gloomy Crevice to trigger the awakening of the Monstrous Cusk boss. The fight is a multi-stage harpoon pursuit as the creature swims toward Deep City. Hit its flanks to slow it down or aim for the head for maximum damage. Defeating it rewards you with its tooth which is a unique material drop.

Scrap-Bot Companion

Complete Tinkerer Orik's quest to unlock Scrap-Bot a passive companion that automatically retrieves materials and catches fish for you. It is one of the most useful additions in the update for players who want to farm materials efficiently without constant manual effort.
