This WARDOGS weapons tier list ranks all 34 weapons based on their stats, price, unlock level, versatility, and overall usefulness in different situations. That matters because WARDOGS makes every weapon choice count: guns cost money, ammo costs extra, and dying means losing the kit you brought into the fight. So, simply picking the weapon with the biggest damage number isn't always the smartest choice. The WARDOGS weapons tier list below ranks all available guns and the best meta you should focus on.
WARDOGS Weapons Tier List
This list is based on overall usefulness rather than one specific situation. A weapon can still be extremely strong in the right hands without being high on the list if it is too expensive, too limited, or outclassed by another weapon.

S-Tier Weapons
These are the guns you really want to have once you unlock them. They hit hard, are easy to get value from, and don't feel useless just because the fight moves from close range to far away.
| Weapon | Price | Unlock | RPM | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|---|
FAL | $6,500 | Assault Lv. 35 | 650 | Extremely serious .308 damage with full-auto fire and strong range. |
M4 | $2,800 | Assault Lv. 20 | 800 | Excellent balance of recoil, fire rate, damage, weight, and range. |
Galil | $2,200 | Assault Lv. 10 | 650 | Reliable 5.56 AR with 35-round magazines and strong mid-range performance. |
SVD | $4,800 | Recon Lv. 12 | 480 | Strong semi-auto damage with much more flexibility than bolt-action snipers. |
![]() AMP-9 | $900 | None | 900 | Very light, cheap, fast-firing SMG that is excellent up close. |
![]() Super-45 | $2,600 | Medic Lv. 35 | 1,200 | Huge fire rate and .45 damage make it deadly in close fights. |
![]() GGX 18 | $800 | Wardog Lv. 70 | 1,200 | Extremely fast sidearm with a 50-round magazine option. |
A-Tier Weapons
These are still really good weapons, and you can easily stick with them for a long time. They just have a few downsides that stop them from being as useful as the S-Tier picks.
| Weapon | Price | Unlock | RPM | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|---|
AK74 | $1,600 | Assault Lv. 3 | 650 | Cheap, reliable AR with good range and manageable recoil. |
T-21 | $600 | None | 750 | Excellent budget AR and one of the best early purchases. |
M249 SAW | $3,200 | Support Lv. 15 | 850 | Massive ammo capacity and fire rate make it excellent for defending positions. |
![]() BMR-308 | $6,000 | Recon Lv. 30 | 450 | Powerful semi-auto .308 marksman rifle with strong precision damage. |
MP43 | $400 | None | 900 | Very cheap shotgun that can delete enemies at close range. |
M500 | $1,200 | Support Lv. 10 | 120 | Strong close-range shotgun with more flexibility than the MP43. |
PKM | $4,500 | Support Lv. 30 | 600 | Huge 7.62x54mm damage, especially effective from a fixed position. |
AMR 50 | $8,800 | Recon Lv. 35 | 41.5 | Super powerful .50 Cal sniper, although its huge weight kind of hurts mobility. |
B-Tier Weapons
These guns aren't bad at all. You can definitely get kills with them, but there are usually better options available once you unlock more weapons.
| Weapon | Price | Unlock | RPM | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|---|
SKS | $2,400 | Recon Lv. 5 | 420 | Good early marksman rifle but eventually outclassed by the SVD. |
![]() MP5 | $1,500 | Medic Lv. 15 | 800 | Solid SMG, but the AMP-9 offers more for less money. |
![]() PP-19 Vityaz | $1,200 | Medic Lv. 4 | 800 | Usable SMG but heavier and less appealing than the AMP-9. |
![]() Compound Bow | $800 | Recon Lv. 17 | 90 | Quiet and useful for stealth, but arrows limit its practicality. |
Mosin Nagant | $4,500 | Recon Lv. 10 | 46 | Good bolt-action sniper, but the SVD unlocks soon after it. |
SV98 | $5,200 | Recon Lv. 19 | 46 | Better handling than the Mosin but still limited by bolt-action fire. |
MK22 | $6,400 | Recon Lv. 25 | 46 | Strong .308 sniper, but less flexible than semi-auto options. |
![]() GGX 17 | $200 | Wardog Lv. 1 | 600 | Cheap and useful as a basic backup weapon. |
RPG-7 | $2,000 | Support Lv. 5 | 100 | Useful against vehicles but unnecessary when there are no vehicles to destroy. |
MAAWS | $2,600 | Support Lv. 20 | 100 | Strong anti-vehicle option but heavy and situational. |
C-Tier Weapons
These are the weapons I would only pick when I don't have anything better or when I specifically need what they offer. Some can still be fun to use, but they are pretty easy to replace once you unlock stronger guns.
| Weapon | Price | Unlock | RPM | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Bushmaster M17S | Free | None | 700 | Usable starter weapon but limited by semi/burst fire and no attachments. |
A-91 | Free | None | 700 | Similar starter weapon with little reason to keep using it later. |
KH-2002 | Free | None | 700 | Fine when you have nothing else, but quickly becomes useless. |
Scout Rifle TD | $1,100 | None | 46 | Better suited to learning Recon and spotting than serious combat. |
![]() Judge | $250 | Wardog Lv. 18 | 200 | Very cheap but too limited compared with stronger sidearms. |
![]() M1911 | $300 | Wardog Lv. 40 | 430 | Functional backup but offers little reason to choose it over other pistols. |
9K333 Verba | $800 | Support Lv. 16 | - | Extremely heavy and only useful when dealing with aircraft. |
MGL-40 | $6,000 | Support Lv. 35 | 75 | Powerful specialist launcher but too expensive for general use. |
From this tier list, you can see that WARDOGS has plenty of weapons, but some are clearly better than others. The FAL, M4, Galil, SVD, AMP-9, Super-45, and GGX 18 are my top picks, while the lower-tier weapons are more situational. At the end of the day, pick a weapon that fits your playstyle and budget. You don't need to buy everything you unlock. Check the WARDOGS wiki for more guides and meta on the game.
