The Takashiro Region Treasure Hunt is the latest weekly drop in the Horizon Meets Festival Playlist, following last week’s chest over in the Ito Region. The photo clue is always easy to misread, with no obvious structures this time - just tall grass and a pond. Here’s exactly where to go to find the location for the Forza Horizon 6 Takashiro Region Treasure Hunt.
Forza Horizon 6 Takashiro Region Treasure Hunt Guide
The Takashiro Region Treasure Hunt is the latest weekly drop in the Horizon Meets series Festival Playlist, following last week’s chest over in the Ito Region. The clue text is the same as every week: “Follow the Photo Clue to Discover the Treasure!” and on a map this size, that tells you almost nothing.
The photo itself shows an open roadside rest area surrounded by tall pampas grass, with a small pond nearby. There’s no recognizable building or circuit entrance in frame, so trying to place it from the photo alone won’t get you far. Here’s what to do instead.
How to Find the Takashiro Region Treasure Chest Location
Takashiro is in the northern part of the Japan map, sitting just below the snow-covered Sotoyama region. You’re headed to the eastern side of Takashiro, where you can find a small rest area by a pond, buried inside a pampas grass field. Here’s how to get there step by step:
- Open your map and set a waypoint toward the northern area of the Forza Horizon 6 Japan map, into the Takashiro region.
- Find Soni Circuit - it’s the main reference point you’ll be navigating from in this part of the region.
- Just follow the waypoint we have on the map below, then fast travel there.
- Once you arrive, keep driving until you reach a spot for Okishinaimura Run Street Racing.
- Take a left onto the road that leads into the tall pampas grass fields.
- Keep driving until you see an orange tree on your right. That's where the treasure chest is.
- Smash the chest and pick up your rewards.
Forza Horizon 6 Takashiro Region Treasure Hunt Rewards
Nothing that’ll transform your garage, but well worth the five-minute detour:
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| Festival Playlist Points | 3 |
| Credits | 100,000 CR |
| XP | 5,000 |
The 3 points are what you’re really here for. The Autumn Series for Horizon Meets has two cars tied to point milestones: Clear 20 points and you get the DeBerti Ford Mustang GT 2018, and hitting 40 points earns you the Nissan 370Z 2010.

Tips for Finding Treasure Hunt Chests Faster
A few things that have saved me time across these weekly hunts:
- Fast travel first: If the chest spawn is on the opposite end of the map from where you are, don’t bother driving the whole way.
- Trust the map over the photo: This week’s clue doesn’t show a building or any hard landmark, so don’t burn time trying to locate it. Pull up the map and search for geographic details instead. This time, it's the brown long-grass patch and the pond scenery that will lead you right to it.
- Slow down once you’re in the right area: Pampas grass is tall enough to completely swallow a treasure chest until you’re nearly on top of it. Back off the throttle once you’re in the field, or you’ll blow past it without even seeing it.
Note: We will keep on updating the reward cars and events weekly whenever each season drops in the game.
