The Mariana's Awakening update added five new Mythical Gauntlets to Fisch, each one tied to a different NPC inside Mariana's Veil. Getting each Gauntlet requires completing a specific quest for the NPC in their respective layer, using a designated rod, and catching specific fish with specific mutations. The Abyssal Gauntlets reveal the hooked fish's mutation at the very start of the catch before the minigame begins. This lets you decide immediately whether the fish is worth catching. They also grant a permanent +5% Universal Mutation Chance while equipped.

How to Get Volcanic Gauntlets in Fisch

The Volcanic Gauntlets automatically slash the hooked fish every 5 seconds for 2% progress. Each slash also grants +15% Progress Speed that diminishes over the following 5 seconds, giving you a repeating burst of speed throughout the entire catch.

The Veiled Gauntlets convert between 5 and 10% of your current Progress Speed into Forced Progress Speed whenever you hook a Hunt Fish. Forced Progress Speed cannot be reversed by the fish, making it particularly valuable during difficult Hunt Fish encounters.
