Forza Edition cars are some of the most unique vehicles in Forza Horizon 6. Unlike normal versions of cars, these special variants come heavily modified with custom tuning, unique builds, and bonus perks that help players earn extra XP, Credits, or skill boosts during gameplay. This guide covers every Forza Edition car currently available in FH6, how to unlock them, and what makes them different from standard vehicles.

What Are Forza Edition Cars?

Forza Edition cars are special, upgraded versions of existing vehicles.

These cars are heavily modified to specialize in specific gameplay styles or race categories. In many cases, they drive completely differently compared to their standard versions.

For example, the regular Subaru BRZ is mainly known as a street-focused sports car. However, the Subaru BRZ Forza Edition transforms it into a rally and off-road-focused build with much better dirt performance.

Most Forza Edition cars also include unique gameplay bonuses such as:

These bonuses make them extremely useful for farming progression and rewards.

How to Unlock Forza Edition Cars

There are several different ways to unlock Forza Edition cars in FH6.

Wheelspins

Most Forza Edition cars can be obtained through Wheelspins. These are usually random rewards, which means unlocking certain FE cars may take some luck.

Journal Rewards

Some FE vehicles are tied to progression systems like:

These are unlocked after reaching specific progression tiers.

Aftermarket Cars

A few Forza Edition vehicles can randomly appear in the overworld through Aftermarket spawns.

Known locations include:

  • Daikoku Parking Area
  • Horizon Festival Drag Strip
  • Sotoyama Ski Resort

These cars do not always appear immediately, so players may need to revisit locations multiple times.

VIP Membership DLC

Some Forza Edition cars are exclusive to players who purchased the VIP Membership.

These include:

  • Dodge Viper GTS ACR FE
  • Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro FE
  • Lotus Evija FE

Best Forza Edition Cars

Best XP Farming FE Car: Lexus LFA Forza Edition

The Lexus LFA FE is one of the best progression-focused FE cars thanks to its Event XP Boost bonus. It is especially useful during Touge races and general event grinding.

Best Drift FE Car: Lotus Evija Forza Edition

The Lotus Evija FE is one of the most unique drift-focused EVs in the game. It feels extremely fast while still maintaining smooth drifting control during mountain routes and Drift Club Japan events.

Best Utility FE Car: Subaru BRZ Forza Edition

The Subaru BRZ FE completely changes the personality of the standard BRZ by turning it into a dirt and rally-focused machine.

It works extremely well for:

  • off-road exploration
  • collectible hunting
  • destruction skills
  • mountain driving

Are Forza Edition Cars Worth Using?

Absolutely.

Even though some FE cars are slightly gimmicky, many of them are extremely useful for progression because of their built-in bonuses.

Certain FE cars are perfect for:

  • farming Credits
  • leveling faster
  • skill chain grinding
  • drift events
  • off-road exploration
  • stunt farming

Since several FE cars also feature heavily modified builds, they often feel completely different from their standard versions.

Personally, I think Forza Edition cars are one of the more fun parts of the progression system because they make familiar cars feel completely different. Some of the builds are honestly ridiculous in the best possible way, especially the rally-focused BRZ FE and drift-focused Lotus Evija FE.

At the same time, I do wish a few more FE cars were easier to unlock outside of Wheelspins since RNG can sometimes make collecting them frustrating. Still, the bonuses and unique builds make them worth chasing overall.

Final Thoughts

Forza Edition cars add a lot of variety to Forza Horizon 6 by transforming standard vehicles into specialized builds with powerful bonuses. Whether you want faster progression, better skill farming, or unique driving experiences, FE cars are easily worth collecting.
